"THIS IS FOR YOU MOM"

What it do everyone! My name is MC UNDERDOGG and I'm a upcoming MC coming straight out of (East Side) San Jose.

I like to watch Basketball as well as playing it. My favorite Football team of all time would have to be The Oakland Raiders. When I'm not in the studio I like to hang out with my boys and get up on some Madden.

I have two brothers that go by the name of REDRUM and SICC. I've been in the music business since the age of seven years old.

Growing up my dad was a local DJ, and from what I can remember I would tag along with him and I would pick up the mic and start flowing as if I was 2Pac(haha). My constant rapping and interest in music grew into a passion that inspired my mother Sylvia and my father Richard who focused on my future in becoming a MC. At the age of eight I wrote and recorded my first songs "I might be young" and "Tryina get Paid".

Over the past several years I've been performing all over the Bay Area. Everything was working out how we planned, until the day of Mother's day 2003, when my mother passed away. We could'nt understand how such a loving, careing and beautiful person can be taken away from us like that.

My mom was such a wonderful person to be around and her smile would just light up a room. She loved everyone that she came across with. It was really hard for me to get past her lost. It got to the point that all I wanted to do was to give up on this music dream of mine. But then I come to ask myself "would my mom want me to quit?" This was her dream for me and I am not going to let her down. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't be the person that I am today.

I've learned to be strong and to never give up. I know that she is very proud of me at this very moment. "Mom I know that you are looking down on me and smiling". I want you to know that there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you, everything that I'm doing at this very moment is for you, all I want for you is to be proud of me.

I love you and miss you so much. Even though you are not present, I know that you are in spirit and keeping our family safe. I thank you for putting all of your time and effort into this dream of mine. I love you! To all of my family, friends and fans I thank you for all of your love and support.

I also want to thank my dad for letting me live my dream. "Dad you have always been there for me and supporting my passion for music". Your the best and I love you for that! I truly appreciate all of you coming out to my shows and for buying my albums. I couldn't have done it with out you all. Hopefully by reading this you can get a feel of who I really am. I'm just a regular kid trying to follow my dreams in life. And I encourage you to do the same, don't let no one get you down or tell you that you can't do it, 'cause you can!
