POP & RACHMANINOV
Product Description
Experience the raw intensity and beauty of the piano expressed through the hands of two very different yet equally passionate performers, Bill Walker and Jeremiah Jacobs.
A classically trained pianist and composer, Bill Walker is celebrated for his playful, friendly personality, moving compositions and dynamic performance.
Over the years Bill has been influenced by many different composers: Chopin, Rachmaninov, Gershwin, Beethoven, Liszt, Debussy, David Lanz, and Yanni to name a few. Listen to Bill perform some Rachmaninov in addition to some of his favorite original compositions.
“[Bill] Walker is a fine pianist, able to coax both brilliance of execution as well as warmth of expression from the [piano]… The man has talent and I think we can expect his name to become prominent in the music world of classically inspired mood music.” –Grady Harp, author of “War Songs” and Amazon Top 10 reviewer.
Jeremiah Jacobs is a composer/songwriter. He was recently commissioned to write the music for Lindsay Wagner’s meditative CD Open to Oneness. He has also contributed music to various film projects. He will be performing some of his original songs.
